GENEVA
After a lot of thought + prayerful consideration, we have made what felt like an impossible decision, but necessary one, in order to maintain our core values + what Moveable Feast really is. We are extremely sad to announce that beginning Tuesday, September 21st, our Geneva location will be permanently closing…we are so grateful to the many of you who trusted us to serve you + your families + let us be a part of all your special occasions for 22 years!
What began as a little cafe on Franklin St grew into a place that welcomed so many, employed hundreds of people, and became a neighborhood favorite. It grew into a wedding venue in downtown Aurora + a full-service restaurant in downtown Wheaton––but more importantly, it grew into a special place in so many lives…
While we are sad to see this chapter close, we hold our heads high because we know we provided so much more than food + the best is yet to come! The aftermath of a global pandemic + the current employment crisis has finally gotten the best of us, and we hope you understand that this decision was not made easily + it did not feel like a choice in many ways. We hope you continue to support us in our Wheaton location + think of us for all of your catering needs + weddings at our venue in Aurora. We are eager to see familiar Geneva faces in Wheaton and we want you to know that you will see ALL of our Geneva staff in Wheaton + Aurora. We truly hope you can comfortably welcome this change alongside us + call our Wheaton location your new home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the support, kind words, + endless love! We will see you soon!
